Monkeying Around in Vegas

In April, I had the honor and the pleasure of attending a two-set 100 Monkeys show at the Book and Stage inside Las Vegas's newest casino, The Cosmopolitan. As always, their performances knocked my socks off.

Vegas Seven Magazine arranged for a pre-show private pizza dinner with the band for a handful of fans. I was blessed beyond measure to be one of the few chosen to attend. And let me just tell you, when you combine good food, great atmosphere, and five of the best people on the planet into one experience, the result is tantamount to a dream.

Following dinner, I indulged myself by snapping a plethora of pictures during each of the band's sets. Their music was perfection, the Cosmopolitan's lighting divine. And it was without a doubt, one of the best nights of my life.

And so, without futher adieu, I give you 100 Monkeys, Live in Las Vegas:

Passion, Practice, Determination, and Dedication

That's what it takes. Those are words I hope to be remembered by.

Success in any endeavor does not happen by accident. Rather it is the result of deliberate decisions, conscious effort, and immense persistence.

In light of that, I give you more 100 Monkeys pictures. A band who lives with passion, practice, determination and dedication.

When words aren't enough

I believe it is only fitting to begin this blog by featuring the band that made me fall in love with photography all over again. Taking pictures of 100 Monkeys when they perform live has to be one of the most exhilarating experiences on earth. Not only are you submerged in their music and surrounded by their adoring fans, the atmosphere around you radiates energy, love, passion, and dedication. Mere words will never be enough to convey how intensely indebted I am to them.
